As a dog owner, what do I need to do each year?
Keeping an up-to-date licence for your dog is very simple! You are required to purchase a dog licence for each dog you own by 31 January or any time a new dog comes under your ownership. The cost is £10 per dog. Dogs under 6 months of age do not need a licence.
Every year after this, you are required to pay a renewal fee for every dog you own. This should be done during the month of January to avoid any penalty.
Lastly, throughout the year, any changes regarding the dogs you own should also be updated on your licence. This can be done by simply inputting your email address into the doglicences.je website and following the steps.

Can I still apply for or renew my dog licence in person?

What do I need to do if I get a new dog?
